The injury of the Serbian bomber Brankica Mihajlovic is more serious than all expected.

After a detailed examination of the left knee, it has been established that it is necessary to undergo surgery.

"Nothing is terrifying, but it has to be done. The pain I feel is growing and it just bothered me. That's why I decided on this move and immediately informed the coaching staff of the National team" explained Brankica Mihajlović.

The operation will be on Sunday, and the recovery should be around two and a half months.

"I believe I will be back in less time, but I do not want to hurry. Unfortunately, I will not be able to help in the Volleyball Nations League, but I believe that the girls will play awesome in the Final tournament. I will cheer for them."

If everything goes well, Brankica might be on the roster for the World Championship in Japan. We will see...
