The Polish men’s volleyball club Asseco Resovia Rzeszów hired a setter’s duo for the next season!

The U.S. national team member, with whom he was crowned the 2014 FIVB World League, 2015 FIVB World Cup, 2012 Pan-American Cup, and 2017 NORCECA Championship winner, Kawika Shoji, will play for Resovia in the next two seasons, the Plus Liga giants announced. The older brother of Erik Shoji, who is also the U.S. NT player, spent the 2017/18 in Italian SuperLega side Gi Group Monza.

The guy with whom Shoji will form a setter’s duo in Resovia is veteran Rafael Redwitz. The Brazilian-born, a former France national team member, returned to Resovia after eight years. He came from the French Ligue A team Arago de Sète, signing a one-year contract.

CEV abolished the technical timeouts!

Technical time-outs are too much. Rhytm of the game just disappears because of that. Good decision made by cev, i wish crooked FIVB will do the same thing for international tournaments. Reply
